Culture of the Week

I seriously died laughing at some of these.

(This [above] is my favorite. I think all the teachers should show this.)

I love this show. The sad thing is, this is probably how they actually write them!!

The Right Elements

This is the story I told to Jacob and Jane tonight.

"Once upon a time, there was a Jedi named Anakin traveling in a wagon pulled by a horse to the ball to dance with the princess Jane. But, he was a bad Jedi, so when he got to the castle the brave knight-prince Jacob came out to meet him and said, "Stop right there, Anakin! You can't come in! I won't let you!"Anakin said, "Oh yes I can!" and pulled out his lightsaber. So Jacob pulled out his sword and said "Then let's fight!" They fought and fought for ages and ages and aaaaaaages- but then finally, Jacob kicked Anakin down and said "That's it! I win! Guards, come and take him away!" So the guards came and took him to the dungeon, and Knight-Prince Jacob and Princess Jane went in the wagon with the horse, and lived happily ever after.

The end.

Quote of the Week

I really missed Player's Club.

"Yeah! Your kids might have like.....five toes or something!!!"

Quote of the Week

"I love how the school always tries to institute new things every year.....and a week later nobody remembers what they are."

School's Back In Swing!

Well, needless to say, you probably won't hear much from me this year. Although it'll be really tough, I know it'll also be a lot of fun- and way worth it at the end!

Both my teachers and classes are fantastic, and of course the Player's Club season began this week- and rehearsals have already started! The comedy this year is "While The Lights Were Out"- auditions were gruelling, but I'm absolutely psyched out of my mind to have got the part I really wanted- and the cast list is absolutely amazing. It's gonna be a great show, even after the amazing success of Urinetown!

Quote of the Week

I finished season 5 of Lost last night (it's my newest obsession, especially the seductively charismatic, sociopath-ic leader of the Others, Benjamin Linus) and so my quote this week is one of my favorites from Ben.

"We have two giant hamsters running in a wheel in our underground lair."

(when asked how the island has power.)

Culture of the Week

THEY ARE SO AMAZING. My only issue is that my box only had one Spock waffle.
